Established in 2006, the Free Range Saxophone Quartet offers a unique twist using a familiar medium. The saxophone has matured to its modern day acceptance in many genres of music. As such, the members of this ensemble have performed in a variety of settings, including solo classical, orchestral, chamber music, small group and big band jazz, funk, R&B and rock. The Free Range Saxophone Quartet draws upon this vast background to present music that aims both to challenge the musical ear while satisfying the musical spirit. Saul Cline is a freelance saxophonist in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Vanessa Sielert, Todd DelGiudice and Gregory Yasinitsky teach saxophone at the University of Idaho, Eastern Washington University and Washington State University respectively.
