Allison Adams Tucker's latest album is a brilliantly sung and produced set of songs that go straight to the heart. Starting with "When in Rome" is a song drenched in the romance of jazz and the purity of the vocals heightens the magic ten-fold :-) . Next up, "Vuelvo Al Sur" is a poetic song, the sensuality of the words, the melody and the vocals are mind-blowing! "A Thousand Years" opens with rather unique staccato piano tones overlaid by Tucker's scat vocals...beautiful! This track has exceptionally lovely lyrics too :-). The beautifully titled " Cinema Paradiso" is the embodiment of all things mellow and graceful...I loved the guitar in this song. "Mediterraneo" slides deep into the psyche as it weaves a wonderful magic with its guitar and Tucker's mellifluous voice. I got quite enthralled with "Pure Imagination", this song has been made with such great love and care. The winding melody took me gently by the heart and led me to the land of Tucker's musical world...a fantastic song! The title track comes quite late down the line, but is nevertheless a well-deserving title song of the album. What a composition! The melody is intricate and Tucker sounds passionate and outstanding....the saxophone playing at a frenetic pace at such a fantastic counter-point to Tucker's unhurried pace. This is a fascinating song! This is an altogether brilliant album that showcases Allison Adams Tucker's obvious talent. Her effortless rendition adds a Midas touch to all that she sings and keeps a listener wanting more
