Josh Nelson, a Jazz pianist plays an active role in Los Angeles, was born in 1978. When he was 19 years old, he released his first album "First Stories" and has released many albums that mainly feature his originals. He toured various countries as a pianist for Natalie Cole for 6 years. He has been a music director for Sara Gazarek over 10 years, toured in Japan with her, and played together in her latest album "Dream in Blue".He has also been engaging in "Discovery Project", a multimedia music project including some visual representations such as science fiction and Mars. This latest album of him is one of the works in the project and features Los Angeles. This is an ambitious album looking back on the modern history of Los Angeles, shedding lights on the historical sites. Antony Wilson (guitar) and Josh Johnson (alto sax) grace this album. The title "Sky Remains" means that the sky of the city has not changed while the view of that has been changing. As he usually performs live shows with visual representations, the music in this album is filled with a variety of colors like a cinematic music. The vocalists, Kathleen Grace and Lilian Sengpiehl also play important roles in this album.
