The Bern, Switzerland-based quartet's very personal sound developed when the musicians, coming in with widely varied backgrounds, tastes and ages, decided to explore musical possibilities through a monthly concert series that ended up lasting over three years. With a healthy sense of "play," saxophonist Andrea Oswald, trombonist Andreas Tschopp, cellist Jonas Tauber, and drummer Christian Wolfarth, create real-time compositions that highlight their unique rapport, instrumentation and personalities.
