Outsider of modern jazz, Francesco Crosara (acoustic piano, synthesizers) returns with an agile work of blue notes with inside sounding very interesting jazz vibe tracks. The pianist's warm and inviting tone, clever compositional choices, and sublime sense of melody pave the way for a timeless recording. Funky elements and acoustic 'positions' in this engaging and varied program of original music. Mesmerized by the richness of Julia's Tango and Gymnopédie No.4, while in the neo-jazz shade of Circular Motion you breathe a rare dynamic groove that is very active and with long contemplative flows. Francesco Crosara is an Italian jazz pianist, composer and educator based in Seattle, who generally performs in a wide range of formats, including solo, duet, trio, quartet. Originally from Milan, Crosara's music fuses an impressive blend of jazz improvisation, a romantic vein derived from his classical formation, together with Latin influences. In the background taste for Billy Childs and José Roberto Bertrami with percussive sounds and sophisticated Afro melodies (Kurama). In the cast, Clipper Anderson (acoustic bass), Mark Ivester (drums), Farko Dosumov (electric bass) and the magical drummer Xavier Lecouturier. His rhythmic instinct, improvised grace, and expressive range make it clear that his contact with jazz is pure artistic suggestion. In One Day Honey, One Day Onions (the jazz petal of the CD), Crosara turns the song into a complex but deeply touching piece. In the fingertips of New York, Los Angeles or London you breathe crazy jazz energy with sparkling black materials. Tasty.
