*Top 11 CDs of 2024* Tynan and Lington both have a classical education and made a start in the classical world with their trumpet. They have now both chosen a career in jazz. For this production, the gentlemen were looking for a meaningful definition of modern jazz. It was not the intention to give a new interpretation to the jazz format with a guitar and piano. The idea was eventually to do something in the style of 'Bitches Brew' and with the characteristic sound of Miles. The sound on this CD comes in in a huge way. It's exciting and you stay on the edge of your seat. Also listen to the rhythmic interpretation by Joe Abba. All in all, not a bad definition of contemporary jazz.
