Piet Verbist opens the album widely spread in solo and works towards an oriental sounding theme, which reaches an emotional peak with tenorist Bart Borremans, instantly recognizable by that own fat and complaining sound. When you also have Bram Weijters and Dré Pallemaerts in the ranks, you get warm, swaying jazz in which some sentiment seeps through.
