The rhythmic "Major Look" starts the listen with Steve Jordan's frisky drums and Michael Wolff's animated electric piano that complements Ricci's radiant guitar playing, and "Whenever" follows with Anthony Jackson's meticulous contrabass guitar and Anthony Jackson's rich soprano sax adding much warmth to the textured climate.
"Sleeping Beauty" and "Around The Block" land in the middle. The former is elegant and poetic thanks to André Mehmari's skilled Fender rhodes, as Ricci handles electric bass, while the latter benefits from Jurim Moreira's colorful drums that suits Valtinho Anastácio's lively percussion.
"Down On 6th St." exits, and it's a more reserved moment courtesy of Rogerio Boccato's light drumming and Ricci's dreamy guitar.
