At twenty-five years of age trumpeter Tatum Greenblatt has established himself as an important young voice on New York City's modern Jazz scene. Mentioned on Wynton Marsalis' website as one of his favorite young trumpet players, (www.wyntonmarsalis.com/FAQ) Tatum Greenblatt has performed with the legendary Mr. Marsalis, as well as with Joe Lovano, The Jazz @ Lincoln Center Orchestra, The Mingus Big Band, The George Gruntz Concert Jazz Big Band, Donny McCaslin, David Berger's Sultan's of Swing, The Fat Cat Big Band, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Christian McBride, Jimmy Cobb, Jeremy Pelt, Sara Gazarek, Reggie Workman, George Garzone, and the Duke Ellington Orchestra, among many others. Having completed his Master's Degree from The Juilliard School, Tatum can be heard performing frequently around New York City with a variety of different groups. His new album, "Break of Day", recorded with The Here and Now Quintet for Origin Record's OA2 Label, was released world wide on October 21st.
