Ezequiel Hezi Jait was born in Argentina in 1978, he is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, orchestrator and educator.

Ezequiel had graduated from the Rubin Academy high school in Jerusalem. He was a member of an IDF military band during his service (Central Command troupe) He possesses a masters degree specializing in composition from the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem. He in addition studied with Dr. Ari Ben Shabtai, Prof. Yinam Liff, Mr. Rafi Kadishzon, Prof. Tayseer Elias, Prof. Menachem Weisenberg and Mr. Ilan Mochiach.

Mr. Jait plays classical guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, oud, piano, drums and percussion. He specializes in a multitude of musical styles including Jazz, Andalusian music, Balkan music, South American music, Bluegrass, Neapolitan songs and French chansons. His Resume includes performances and recordings in Israel and abroad with many ensembles in various styles

Over the years he had performed with Israel's top artists including Alon Olarchik, Shlomo Gronich, Keren Peles, Alma Zohar, Evitar Banai, Barry Sakharof, Etti Ankri, Nino Biton, Emil Aybinder, Chaya Samir and more.

He lead a fruitful career as a teacher and educator in a variety of musical disciplines in different settings such as the High School of Art in Moserara, the Kibbutzim Seminar, music majors, conservatories and more.

He is the General Manager of the Israeli Jazz Workshops corporation leading over 14 Jazz ensembles nationwide.
