Ben Feldman is a New York bassist and composer, originally from Seattle. He began playing bass at the age of 13, and continued on to the nationally recognized Garfield High School program where he joined the top jazz band, as well as the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra. He received numerous honors including being selected as a member of the 2017 Grammy Jazz Band and the 2017 Vail Jazz Workshop.

While still in high school, he quickly began working as a professional, performing with Seattle luminaries including Jay Thomas, Mark Taylor, Dawn Clement, Johnaye Kendrick and Bill Anschell in clubs and concerts. He has also appeared with internationally known musicians Stefon Harris, Sullivan Fortner, Dave Liebman, Regina Carter, Joey Alexander, and Matt Wilson. He co-leads the NYC-based bands FRIENDSHIP and Meridian Odyssey, both of which perform in the city as well as abroad. He currently attends Manhattan School of Music and is a student of Ron Carter and Buster Williams.
